I was reluctant to buy it (knowing I will have to carry bulky pods), but it is well worth it.

I also used pods from Trader Joes (plastic, not aluminum) and it works too.

I use it with genuine original nespresso pods and at least half the time the foil on top of the capsule bursts and coffee grounds leak in the coffee

With the adapter and using compatible neapresso pods it pumps easier, comes out faster, and ultimately gives a better experience.
