Cheap plastic but look and work great.

My minor complaint is that the bit of wiring attached from the dummy camera is a little short and will probably not hold up well in the hot sun as it is made from hollow plastic tubing material.

First off the item out the box does seem very cheap plastic, but hey for the price and the fact when installed standing 2' away you would never question their authenticity

Their made from fairly flimsy plastic and the top part pops off real easy.

They look realistic, are constructed of what appears to be a durable plastic housing, and should discourage intruders.

My solution was to use a very small flat blade screwdriver and pry the recessed metal connector up, being very careful not to break the surrounding plastic.

However, even though it is made of cheap plastic, once mounted it looks quite real -- will likely fool all but the most experienced burglars.

seems like inexpensive plastic but it does not bother me because they look great installed and much more cost effective then the on going monthly cost of a security system i never seem to use.

The only objection is to the blinking Red LED that does not work as on a real camera
