only reason it doesn't get a five is the short length on the fake wire
-
I had to find a way to keep the fake wire coming from camera part to stay in base because it was not as long as pictured
-
one light did not work a wire was not connected.
-
Faulty wire.
-
I wish the fake wire to the fake camera was a bit longer so it doesnt pop out of the slot to make it look like a dummy
-
Opened it up & found out the wire got broken
-
Also, the fake wire is not attached to anything and simply slides into a hole in the bar underneath.
-
If someone, which I doubt (unless they have these too) , can see the fake loose wiring that leads to NOWHERE on the camera , then they can tell it is fake
-
I used superglue to attach the fake wire that comes out the camera into the wall mount bar
-
cameras look authentic but the fake wire (it's a piece of tubing) is too short and won't stay in the hole so it flops around -and that kind of blow the whole thing
-
so it looks like it’s wired in
-
I just ran a piece of coax cable from behind the base to have it look like it was wired into power.
-
The fake wire that comes with the camera is all you need if you hang it on a building that has power ran to it
-
A small unobtrusive hole drilled in the wall or ceiling in which to insert the fake wire adds to their realism.
-
You will then place the piece of tubing into the little hole to make it look like there is actual wiring to the camera
-
but they would be really cool if they each came with an extra fake wire
-
They run on batteries but have a black fake wire running on the outside to appear to be realistically electrically connected.

Very inexspensive for such a great product....comes with all the hardware to hang and even has a fake wire as if it’s hooked up to an entire security system....highly recommend!
