I generally like this camera as it is easy to set up, provides good quality video, works even without the plugin (which I despise with all IP cameras), and Wansview plays nicely with Linux.

I purchased this product after seeing a number of favorable reviews but was quickly disappointed to see the poor quality of workmanship that arrived, English written instructions that were filled with typos and that didn't make sense, and ultimately and most importantly a product that didn't (when you could finally understand the instructions) connect with wireless technology and kept giving the same error message over and over again.

It seems to be of decent build quality

both cases the problems were severe enough to interfere with use of the product for the basic objectives: WiFi linking, good quality and ease of use from various platforms

The only thing is that the mic has a 5-10 sec lag but overall very good video quality and night camera.
