I can honestly say that I haven't once considered putting any games on the solid state

I understand that, statistically, at certain number of drives of any type - even solid state drives - will be DOA.

It didn't take rocket science to hear and feel the point source of the sound and vibration, apart from the fact that all my other hard drives are solid state, was this disk.

it isn't as fast as solid state, but it's as fast as you're going to get for a drive with this size at this price
