    • It also is blessedly NOT burdened with a bunch of automatic "think for you" unwanted software
    • gone!!!The proprietary WD software can be used for password protection and security or the drives can be used as simply another listed drive to the operating system
    • Software not intuitive
    • I don't have time to completely lose all the software, then reload the software from WD online to both partitions.

    • I thought let me check disk management...and it's not there either...searched online and discovered many people had this issue with no solid response from WD, the only way is to unplug > plug again for it to work as there is no on/off button as the older models
