The speed is nice!

Power consumption is excellent as well as speed and low noise.

If you dont need a super high-speed hard drive then these are excellent models.

Ideal size, speed and choice for hard drives to be raided together for video work such as Final Cut Pro

For critical data drives, I prefer the Caviars because their slower spin speed offers greater longevity and reliability with little sacrifice in overall system speed.
