The store-bought original is the black one and the differences are mostly obvious:There is much more substance , thickness and sturdy heft in the black store-bought version as well as a nice quality rubber coating over the thicker plastic base

Works great, detangles without ripping out my hair, works well when my hair is dry or wet, I really enjoy this brand of brushes, they seem high quality

These are good quality, great price so keep several on hand.

However the quality of the brush handle is definitely cheap and bad quality

It is either a fake, or the new model is a terrible quality compared to the previous model
