My board came with uniform frosting and I think it's a cool idea and cool looking but not the same as a white board, bullet nose markers or not, The mounting template is off, use the actual glass instead, boy it looks cool, but does not display your notes , things to do , etc. well.

I was looking to buy a whiteboard for my kitchen but wanted something that was more modern looking and well, prettier than your average whiteboard

That said, my walls are a a light gray which does cut down on the contrast between "ink" and board, and the glass itself does not reflect the marker giving my writing a transparent look compared to what I got writing against the opaque background of the traditional whiteboard.

It was super easy to install, packaged extremely well and has a sleek modern look to it.

As long as this mounts as easy as it looks...I am thrilled.
