Much like you can ruin a refrigerator by lying it down then plugging it in too soon, this machine (I'm not a mechanic) could be potentially harmed

The machine makes a terrible straining noise, which is the point when the outer ice cream is frozen to a normal solid ice cream consistency and the inside is still a more line a loose taffy consistency

I still prefer this machine over my insulated canister because I like the comfort of knowing I can keep mixing until it's done and it is better at adding air

I found this machine takes about 45 minutes to freeze a quart (after pre-chilling it in the freezer until it got very cold), and the result is somewhat icy each time

It almost sounds like the manufacturer is recycling previously returned machines just to clear out their warehouse
