My Verizon tech recommended Net Gear; however, I shopped Amazon and was impressed with all the reviews, price, and features related to easy setup and 2.4 & 5GHz Dual Band WiFi Extender with Gigabit Ethernet Port.

and I wanted to leave it that way since moving it in the middle of the house to extend signal up to the second floor and up to the front portion of the house requires a long and different type of wires to run around from the router to the television (AT&T requires the cable box attach to router), as well as to my other ethernet unit attach to it (Hue Bridge, Extra TV router, Apple Devices, etc)
