Build quality is good, controls feel looser than GameCube, shoulder buttons are also a learning curve when it comes to N64 games
-
Unfortunately, the "popular" new control mechanism just wasnt for me
-
I think the item is very cool, its a shame that just a few games can be played with this classic control.
-
It makes gameplay more like xbox and ps3 with awesome controls for everything
-
You'll need a better joystick if you want finer control on the classic games
-
The controls work accurately
-
The Wii Classic Controller Pro, great control, good for any game that is compatible with this control
-
This thing has a crappy control pad that makes fighting games difficult to play
-
the controls do not wear out as fast; as did the other control I had for six months
-
Well designed and built to allow for good control of all aspects.
-
It has everything that it needs: left and right shoulder/trigger buttons, a left and right control stick, 4 face buttons, the + pad and the start (+) select (-) and wii Home button
-
I used this for playing Xenoblade Chronicles and found the controls to be much improved with this
-
I hated it b/c of the stupid play control!
-
Nintendo ought to enforce more stringent quality control on these things before they are shipped, so that way I -don't- have to keep on exchanging until I get one that's defect free and feels the way it SHOULD.As for my gripes or commendations about the controller's design, I'm going to try to sum those up in a "Pro vs. Con" instead of typing out lengthy paragraphs

Worth it for better controls.
-
Gives great control in games
-
Really saddening, Nintendo should enforce better Quality Control before shipping their products, especially if Pro is going to replace the older model entirely**I decided to pick one of these up at the local Best Buy to see if Pro is really as good as folks have been saying
-
Nice control
-
I love Wii games, but I'm a pretty serious gamer - I really dislike the Wiimote and it's awkwardly fickle controls, and the nunchuk is just awkward

Much better than the wii motes, this allows me to use a classic control that make the experience much more familiar
-
Love this control, I haven't had any problems with it
-
The controls are significantly different than that of a N64's, but I love it regardless
-
Two factors contributed to this: brilliant games and the introduction of innovative controls
-
Great controls !.
-
I hated it b/c of the stupid play control!
-
Buy it you won`t regret it!!!!
-
Another issue with the old Classic Controller was the R and L buttons being analog.
-
Moreover, each side has two shoulder buttons (L, Zl, R & Zr) as well as the familiar from the Wiimote, Home, Select (-) and Start (+) buttons
-
The top R and L buttons are difficult not comfortable to press, like the Gamecube or Xbox 360 controllers - I really liked the Gamecube controller's four face buttons desgin

l recommend
-
They wiggle around in their slots a bit more than I would like, particularly the L, R, and Z buttons, and the d-pad is very finicky about your hitting any of the four cardinal directions that it may register it as a diagonal instead
-
L I haven't complained at all, since it is that good of a controller and my favorite color is
