Build quality is good, controls feel looser than GameCube, shoulder buttons are also a learning curve when it comes to N64 games

Unfortunately, the "popular" new control mechanism just wasnt for me

I think the item is very cool, its a shame that just a few games can be played with this classic control.

It makes gameplay more like xbox and ps3 with awesome controls for everything

You'll need a better joystick if you want finer control on the classic games

The Wii Classic Controller Pro, great control, good for any game that is compatible with this control

This thing has a crappy control pad that makes fighting games difficult to play

Well designed and built to allow for good control of all aspects.

It has everything that it needs: left and right shoulder/trigger buttons, a left and right control stick, 4 face buttons, the + pad and the start (+) select (-) and wii Home button

I used this for playing Xenoblade Chronicles and found the controls to be much improved with this

Really saddening, Nintendo should enforce better Quality Control before shipping their products, especially if Pro is going to replace the older model entirely**I decided to pick one of these up at the local Best Buy to see if Pro is really as good as folks have been saying

I love Wii games, but I'm a pretty serious gamer - I really dislike the Wiimote and it's awkwardly fickle controls, and the nunchuk is just awkward

Much better than the wii motes, this allows me to use a classic control that make the experience much more familiar

Love this control, I haven't had any problems with it

The controls are significantly different than that of a N64's, but I love it regardless

Another issue with the old Classic Controller was the R and L buttons being analog.

Moreover, each side has two shoulder buttons (L, Zl, R & Zr) as well as the familiar from the Wiimote, Home, Select (-) and Start (+) buttons

The top R and L buttons are difficult not comfortable to press, like the Gamecube or Xbox 360 controllers - I really liked the Gamecube controller's four face buttons desgin

They wiggle around in their slots a bit more than I would like, particularly the L, R, and Z buttons, and the d-pad is very finicky about your hitting any of the four cardinal directions that it may register it as a diagonal instead
