    Wii Classic Controller Pro - Black - Nintendo Wii Standard Edition

    • Beware of poor quality Nintendo knock-offs and check the seller reviews before purchasing

    • FYI-- this controller is also fantastic for Mario Kart 8 on Wii U!
    • What's also great is that IS compatible with the Wii U!
    • It is very comfortable to hold for extended periods of time and essential for many of the virtual console games for the Wii console (or Wii mode on your Wii U)
    • a Wii U and GameCube controllers are NOT supported by the Wii U (unfortunately), this is a FANTASTIC alternative to a GameCube controller
    • W(e also realized that if you don't use it, you just turn the wii remote sideways and the "1" and "2" buttons serve the "a" and "b" purposes, and the direction control works sideways.
    • This controller works well with all of the old Mario games that we have downloaded as well as with the Mario Kart games we purchased.
    • It works well for all the classic SNES and N64 games, as well as with the new James Bond game

    • They wiggle around in their slots a bit more than I would like, particularly the L, R, and Z buttons, and the d-pad is very finicky about your hitting any of the four cardinal directions that it may register it as a diagonal instead

    • I understand that nintendo chose this button placement on the classic controller because thats how the super nintendo controllers were, but theres a lot of gamers like myself out there who are now used to the A being at the bottom, the B to the right, y up top, and x to the left
