I've been looking for a second Wii classic controller and they are so hard to find as the Wii U is taking over

Also a nice Wii U Pro controller alternative for people who can't afford one or people who just can't justify the purpose of a Wii U Pro controller.

The Wii Classic Controller Pro - Black (Japanese Version) is a great alternative to the North American version

so be warned; take note that the 'B' button and 'A' button are in less-than-intuitive places on the Wii Classic Remote, and the odd button-mapping of the bumpers and triggers is just as disorienting

If this is your preference, like I said, look for the original Wii Classic Controller, otherwise this is an improvement

This should feel familiar if you're used to a SNES controller unless you find the PlayStation-style grips a hindrance, in which case the original Wii Classic Controller would better serve you

If you want a Wii Classic controller, this is a fantastic choice.

If you're looking for a Wii Classic Controller Pro, there's no reason to discriminate between the North American and Japanese versions except for price and shipping
