Not enough hard-core games

What makes the Wii unique is that it caters to both hard core games and those wanting a quick diversion

Great fun for the family, not meant for a hard core multiplayer online fanatic like my self.

There are plenty of games for the casual gamer but not many games will appeal to hard core gamers.

There are plenty of games that can use the Gamecube controller or Classic controller attachment instead for those that don't like the Wii controller--Guilty Gear XX Accent Core, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, etc.

The former ones are meant for hard core gamers who want nothing but spectacular graphics and detail

They have few games that suit the hard-core gamers

I will admit that if you are into hard core shooters, the Wii is not the best system (although the Conduit might change that).

Plus, you get so much included - a hard drive (don't have to fork out more $$) and a wireless antennae built-in (a[...] add-on for the other platforms).A hard core gamer will still need an xBox 360 or a PS3 to get your full gaming experience, but families and aficionados alike will love it!

I undoubtedly loved Halo and Xbox, but I'm not really a hard core gamer, I have a life outside of videos games

Hard-core gamers will disagree, but this console is not targeted to them.

It will be a good change from the hard core and online gaming which we are used to now days.2

The Wii has a tons of games for the casual game audience and those who love social gaming, but it's also hard to find a game that's hard-core and solo because of it

I was prepared for the lack of hard-core games they produced, but the fact that I can't watch movies, or would have to repeatedly by batteries for my controllers sucks.

so I am a hard core gamer the wii isn't much for me.
