Wild Arms is a terrific game

I don't know how the Wild Arms series managed to escape my notice for this long.

Wild Arms is an old game

Well, Wild Arms is a pretty decent game overall.

It was a long time ago that Wild Arms entered the gaming world as the second RPG on the PS (the first being Beyond the Beyond in '95), but a long time doesn't really change anything, for I have yet to see an RPG that has surpassed the quality that was shown here.
-
Graphically, it's definitely dated; though I found the 2D overworld to be charming (Wild Arms Altered F appalled me with its ugly 3D visuals), the battle scenes were definitely a bit lacking, especially compared to FFVII which came out the same year

I wonder what the PSX2 remake, Wild ARMS

Wild Arms is one of the first ps rpg reached the American and European shelves, and yet one of the better

My SO has been playing Wild Arms: 3 for a little while and he loves it.

My first exposure to Wild Arms was Wild Arms 3 which I had rented from Gamefly.

Some may say the story is your typical save-the-world fare, but I still think it beats the heck out of some of the plotlines in games today (where original ideas seem to be lacking overall).Wild ARMS, simply put, is a classic

Some of the puzzles in "Wild Arms" can be a little challenging, but most of them are not too hard to figure out.
-
So, I decided to start collecting the Wild Arms series to try out, starting with the original Wild Arms

This development isn't without a good complementary story, Wild Arms (though cliched, what isn't?) presents a very pleasant story

I wonder what the PSX2 remake, Wild ARMS

However, in spite of this format, Wild Arms delivers on plenty of plot twists and character development

A couple of years ago I picked up a copy of Wild Arms 2 and I really enjoyed the game (despite hearing that it is the black sheep of the 3 Wild Arms games).
-
Even if your a new to Wild ARMS, or a fan, this is one RPG not to overlook

Graphics was never the series' strong point, even though the graphics for Wild ARMS 2 were very well done (outside of the battle system mind you!), and Wild

There is a strong puzzle solving element to this game (though not as bad as the block puzzles from WA2), but it was used effectively in Wild Arms.
-
Wild ARMS was the first RPG to catch my eye.
-
What must also be discussed is the phenomenal soundtrack of Wild Arms
-
Wild Arms was one the first games I played on the psx system
-
I enjoyed the game so much that I was willing to track down a copy of the first Wild Arms game and give this one a shot, too.

But this review is about Wild Arms

Wild Arms is worth playing for the music alone, but you'll also find a genuinely entertaining old school RPG.
-
magic system and ARMS make the characters more unique and interesting.
-
While Wild ARMS didn't contain all the hype and flash that FFVII had going for it (far from it in some aspects), I felt the game overall was a real winner

I love RPGs since the NES days and Wild Arms is a solid, fun rpg that all rpg fans should at least try out.
-
After I had completed FFVII after the holidays, my classmate lent me his copy of Wild Arms
-
Now we own Wild Arms 1, 2, 3, and 4 and I will be getting him WA:5 for Christmas this year
-
Wild Arms" probably has one of the better story lines that I have seen in console RPGs.
-
The only downsides I can think of are the bad-as-of-now graphics
-
Even FFVII, as great as it may be, ultimately fell for the same format
