Wilson Electronics - 460101 DT 4G - Cell Phone Signal Booster for Small Home or Office

    • I see that the manufacturer has responded to some reviews and posted the links to other powerful antennas
    • The signal goes bad every time I plug in the desk top antenna.
    • We did find the indoor antenna to be odd to setup.
    • Indoor antenna could be better.
    • I will up date post when I get the new antenna and if it works like stated I will revise
    • If you want to increase the range inside your house, the best thing you can probably do is to add a better directional outdoor antenna to this kit since it will both improve the signal and the separation from the indoor antenna.
    • I didn't get around to installing it till too late and the antenna broke very easy so save everything if you want your money back this seller sucks
    • I deducted a star since the inside antenna is pretty
    • Hooked it up to the router and the desk top antenna.
    • But the poor internet connection is what you are working on!Oh, and the outside antenna is goofy.
    • The package comes with any necessary wires, and the outdoor antenna uses standard coax cable (like the cable companies use for TV), so it can be found easily if you need additional length.

    • I'm able to get 4 out of 5 bars in a very rural area and the antenna is not even as high as recommended
    • It was suggested I should probably upgrade to a more expensive unit because this one doesn't allow for the desk top antenna to sit far enough away from the router to work properly.

    • I ended up having to move the antenna - and the second time I held the phone in place for about a minute in each location to be sure I really did have a good signal.2) Keep the antenna as fully separated from the base station as possible - open air distance won't work great for this, but wall and ceiling materials will
    • (I have my antennas much closer than recommended,)Fired up the phone, 4 bars where I had one
    • If you buy this item, make sure you use a cable clamp/mount to secure the coax from the exterior antennae before you attempt to permanently mount it
    • DT4G requires approved antennas and cables as specified
    • I went to a AT&t MicroCell that works fine
    • I couldn't get it to co-operate much with t-mobile in my area since it kept making me turn down the boost to get t-mobile to work it wasn't really improving my signal much where the unit wanted to run at
