In my case, I would say the signal range is about twice as better as the tiny anntena

... i also get coverage in my other rooms but not as strong and sometimes only 3g.... but i live out in the country where i was lucky to even get a 3g bar... and now for the girlfriend who is prepaid on verizon and couldn't use roaming towers to call or text.. she now won't get off her iPhone ..
