They function reliably, put out reasonable distortion-free power and good sound.

The blue power LED on the front of the amp is bright enough to be used as a night light

powers 1 speaker nicely, clean and crisp. not sure how it would power 2. never tried it.

I even tried replacing the cheap power pack with up to a 4A (4000ma) power pack, hoping to increase the output

I like that I am consuming less power and have simplified the number of things that can go wrong

Of course you will not get 90 watts out of this but power is good enough for a couple of shelf speakers.

If the bass trys to hit it looses power and turns of and on again and is really annoying when im just trying to listen to music

The reason that I went down to four stars is that the amp doesn't seem to have enough power to drive 8 ohm speakers
