These tempered glass screen protectors crack and chip very easily without the phone even being dropped.

Had more expensive glass cover before and lasted 1.5 years before a much bigger drop caused a crack

so it is reasonable that the first one broke after being dropped

but I feel much better knowing my screen is protected if that fateful drop ever does happen.

Not sure if it will protect if my phone dropped from a counter or not

I have had these screen protectors appear to shatter or crack when the phone has dropped on its screen face while the screen itself remained in damaged.
