Other than watching for bad 50 yearold tape splices (and a bit of a learning curve), this machine has been fairly set-and-forget for the 65 captures I've performed so far.

You can’t get at the right angle with it to clean every bit that needs cleaning

An admission, I work in television engineering so I am a bit harder to please but at the same time, I understand the process of setting the unit up which was not hard at all

Do find getting the film under the feeder notches is a bit tricky but the quality of the film is exceptional.

The control buttons are a bit tricky to use but the results are worth the aggravation!

I was a bit reluctant at first to try this on my own but actually enjoyed the time spent.

So it misses the mark in some ways and takes a bit of monkey grease to work it properly, but the results are truly stunning.

As for the performance, the product was better than I had dared hoped for as I was a bit apprehensive after reading feedback from some previous users
