Wolverine 8mm & Super 8 Reels to Digital MovieMaker Pro Film Digitizer, Film Scanner, 8mm Film Scanner, Black (MM100PRO)

    • This little machine did a great job unlocking the mystery of images stored in some long forgotten filmstrips.
    • The machine take a high resolution picture of each frame and combines them into an mp4 - and it does an excellent job.
    • I does a great job digitizing the film
    • It does a pretty decent job with film that's in good condition.
    • The transfer process is a little slow, but otherwise, it does a great job
    • It does a really good job, glad I got the pro.
    • I use VSDC Free Video Editing Software, and it does a terrific job
    • The plastic spindle adapters do a terrible job of keeping some reals on the machine
    • It takes some experimenting to get adjustment of the film frame just right, but it does a good job of digitizing 8mm film.
    • It's very easy to set up and operate and it did a good job
    • The Wolverine did great job transferring 1950's 8mm family films to digital.
    • I also own their slide transfer and it too does an amazing job.
    • It does a much, much, much better job than Costco duplication service did.
    • It does a good job of cleaning, as well as conditioning the film
    • The Wolverine Pro does a great job,
    • I have both the MovieMaker and the MovieMaker Pro and can say that they both do a splendid job with 50 foot reels (3") but if you have any 5" or 7" reels you will want the pro model
    • First, the machine does a pretty good job creating smooth and steady footage after it has been run for a half hour of break-in time, so run a small reel first (a little jumpy), then delete, then re-run the reel for a smooth keeper
    • This machine does a good job of converting 8mm movies to digital
    • Also the clips the hold it in place don’t do a very good job and the film constantly started to move even though I adjusted the frame to begin with.
    • The operation is simple, it does a credible job of converting old 8mm and Super8 to digital
    • Did a great job on old films from my family.
    • Overall it did a nice job with the old films.
    • This, however, does a great job of converting
    • Very slow but have done a decent job
    • This frame-by-frame film digitiser did a great job on my more than 1800 feet of Super8 movie reels (2 large reels with multiple small films spliced together and 13 small 50'- 3 minute reels)
    • Feeding the film through the more complex travel path can prove tricky, but it's well worth it as this unit seems to do a great job at eliminating slack for a good scan
    • I can't compare it to something considered more "professional" but it certainly does a good job for me
    • Wolverine does a nice job rewinding .. slow but not forever slow - still advise be with it as it can spill off the reels making a total mess
    • This is a nifty little machine that was easy to use and did a great job digitizing my 60 plus year old home movies.
    • I found that using a soft cloth did a much better job--without scratching the film, somewhat to my surprise.
    • While this was expensive, it did a good job capturing the film and in the end was more economical than sending them out to have them converted to digital.
    • Given that, the Wolverine 8mm & Super 8 Digital MovieMaker Pro does a great job of streamlining that process.
    • and it did the job pretty well but are a few things I wish I'd known when I started
    • Does a great job
    • I use the one that came in my laptop, which does the job, but it is likely a better job would be had with better software, but not so much I feel the need to spend a lot of money on it
    • Overall, it does a very fine job of keeping home movies around for generations to come, backed-up on USB Thumb Drive, DVD, Blu-Ray, and SD cards, with very good results.
    • The larger size and longer nozzle allows the delivery of more air at a higher pressure; it does a Great job of blowing all the dust off
    • but it did a very satisfactory job
    • The unit does a great job of converting old movies to digital format.
    • It does a great job in digitizing
    • I scanned dozens of 40-60 year old films and this scanner did a great job
    • I will say it again, it did a great job
    • Wolverine does a nice job rewinding .. slow but not forever slow - still advise be with it as it can spill off the reels making a total mess
    • A couple of people did a very good job listing many of its pros and cons
    • This item did an amazing job digitising 4 of my old films
