    • Thank you for such a great machine!
    • The machine appears to overheat after about 2-3 hours of operation (so about half way through a 7" reel or after 8-10 3" reels).
    • A machine that could simply play the audio and convert it to mp3 would be awesome.
    • I would advise just paying someone to convert with a better machine.
    • If the scanner lens gets dirty somehow, the machine is now useless

    • The more problematic the machine is, the faster the warranty goes away
    • This machine really doesn't like spliced film
    • Either the tension is wrong or after a while the machine just stops working correctly
    • you have old movies, I highly recommend this machine
    • These machines work by grabbing your super 8mm or 8mm film and taking a shot of each frame.
    • So, I assume that the machine is not precise in aligning each frame, causing this result
    • Great machine!!
    • This machine is faulty and will be returning it, but I won't get back the full week of time working with it
    • so I have to sit and watch every frame being captured and turn off the machine when it jams
    • Verily easy to use, great machine to digitize your old 8 and super 8 films
    • The new machine worked without issue and I was able to complete converting my old family films.
    • These aren't datacine machines costing as much as a small car, and complaining about many aspects of the MMP is like whining that your Honda doesn't have the handling of a Bugati
    • This machine works well
    • This machine does not play well with splices or metal reels
    • I love this machine
    • I was amazed at how well this machine worked
    • The Wolverine is a good machine for the price, but if the manufacturer allowed users to adjust the settings more it would be phenomenal
    • The second machine works, but with some issues.
    • This machine made the movie duplication easy
    • It will be interesting to see how long this fairly complex little machine lasts.

    • After 6 hours or so the machine would start to jam up and stop working.
    • The machine is very gentle on the old film.
    • The machine I got back had a lot fewer feeding problems
    • I had put off being able to digitize my family's (1959-1967) 8mm film due to the cost, availability of capable home use machines and unwillingness to send off my familiar heirlooms
    • The bad splices and worn sprocket holes mentioned above will jam the machine and it will generate many shots of the jammed frame
    • Machine works well and seems sturdy so far after 12 hours of converting film
    • good machine for the value, regular 8 mm, tends to jam, thankfully I don't have many 8 mm reels

    • splices always hang up any machine; you have to be nearby and hear that it's hanging.
    • After digitizing 20 7-inch reels, the machine quit working just after it had ticked over 200 uses
    • SO, I went on Amazon and bought [25Ft RCA M/Mx3 Audio/Video Cable Gold Plated - Audio Video RCA Cable 25ft] and also to my local Walmart to purchase a [Audio Video Gold RCA Female to Female Coupler
    • The common menu driven frame adjustments - Horizontal, vertical and zoom as well as +
    • I have returned this product and am looking at other brands to try for the rest of the reels I have left to convert, as well as, to try re-recording the 5-in and larger reels that could not keep the frame adjustments in place.
    • Finished video almost as clear as original Super 8.
