The other weak point is the slow rewind procedure.

The rewind is much slower than it would be with a projector, but it's not so slow that I would drag out my projector just to rewind

The only downside was the slow rewind speed, but we both still had working projectors, so we used these for rewinding our large reels.

Also the rewind is really slow, and doesn't keep very good tension on the tape as it rewinds.

Wolverine does a nice job rewinding .. slow but not forever slow - still advise be with it as it can spill off the reels making a total mess

While recording/rewinding, the metal reels then wobble A LOT, regardless of the size, which can sometimes be a problem on the take-up end and makes the loose winding issue worse.5
