Wyze Cam 1080p HD Indoor Wireless Smart Home Camera with Night Vision, 2-Way Audio, Works with Alexa

    • Video quality is superb, the recording/playback imagery is clear and reliably recorded -- even the night images
    • The recording to the web is definitely where it lacks compared to the Nests and other such cameras
    • I personally will not be buying this - Bringing a sensitive piece of equipment into my home from a regime with terrible human rights record is just dumb.
    • I had a memory card installed, so constant recording didn't work
    • Love the simple install and auto day/night recording
    • I don't like:>Only records for 11 seconds after motion
    • I purchased a couple Wyze Cams (v2) from another retailer after having found out about it a few months ago, Finally, a company that offers a low price wireless camera with free cloud recording
    • And also love the no cloud recording fee
    • Simple app, free recording of clips, SD card, 1080p and easy to use
    • I understand that a lot of budget cameras do this as recording to the cloud continuously is expensive both in terms of cloud storage and uploading
    • night, day, sound, slow motion time lapse, smoke detector sensor, recording and more
    • The 12 second clips that record to the cloud are nice but the sd card recording is what is so great about this camera
    • The app's playback option to watch your footage playback what it recorded is touchy at best
    • Every motion/sound detection can be recorded locally to sdmem card and played back via smartphone app - including 24x7 rotating recording and time lapse recording too
    • the camera is good, But only record 12 second and wait for 5 minutes ,
    • You can set certain notifications as well as set certain record times
    • I tried calling Wyze, but the pleasant recording on the phone tells me nobody is available to answer, that I should send email for support, and then hangs up without a voicemail option.
    • Also for those who still opt for an off-line security system which offers the most robust and private recording settings, Wyze could be the minimal add-on for online viewing
    • This camera has a micro SD slot which is the only way store the recordings (most cameras offer a cloud recording option for a fee)
    • Motion, sound, 2 weeks cloud storage, and continuous local recording on SD
    • I can talk to him and listen through it, as well as record footage
    • records to memory card locally no cloud needed- records with a couple seconds before the motion
    • so I hear the ding, ding of events being recorded all day and all night.
    • I like the time lapse recording and many of the software features
    • I personally will not be buying this - Bringing a sensitive piece of equipment into my home from a regime with terrible human rights record is just dumb.
    • We have 4 pets at home and being able to tell the camera to ignore some areas keeps us from getting a lot of superfluous recording events
    • I do wish the record function would allow you to select a portion to record instead of keeping the app open while the video plays (slow record).
    • After a couple of months, the camera stopped recognizing the SD card that I purchased with it, as well as stopped recording in cloud storage
    • If you don’t need to play it back it will automatically erase and re-record
    • This too can hopefully be fixed in future software/firmware updates to allow it to re-arm immediately and continue providing new alerts if the trigger (e.g. motion) continues.- The 2 IR bulbs/lights for night/dark recording aren't enough, they can only reliably illuminate out to maybe 5 feet, anything beyond that is too
    • I understand some have problems with the camera turning itself on and recording, but my mother is oblivious to that and would be delighted if the Chinese want to secretly record her watching tv.
    • these camera won’t work and record when you need them !
    • You get the cloud recorded clips obviously, but you can record live feed to your phone as you watch it or to an SD card continuously
    • 800# is just a recording saying to submit email, and then slow to resopond, in my opinion
    • I could never get the continuous record function to work
    • Two as well as D-
