Unlike Streets of Rage, this game is incredibly unforgiving even for the well practiced and time tested players of its levels with years of experience.4 stars because some of what made this game so difficult came down to poor character box hit zones, bosses that required suicide tactics to defeat, and when you die - that X-Man is NEVER coming back

Played it when it was brand new and there were great x-men characters

My favorite X-men game

I was a huge fan of Wolverine and Gambit and you get to use them along with Cyclops and Nightcrawler and have use of their mutant abilities, as well as having other X-men to come in to help you along the way that you can call upon.

I was right there playing as my favorite X-men, with beautiful graphics, awesome mutant abilities, beautiful stage levels, everything about the game was awesome.
