It saves money because in the long run you will need the space and buying the $200 model with a hard drive separately is more expensive

example, the hard drive transfer cable that you can only use if microsoft!!the Kinect sensor that comes with the bundle will ONLY WORK on the new Xbox 360's, with the new port on the back.
