    Xbox Elite Wireless Controller

    • I swapped it out twice within the very poor 3 month warranty period
    • For what it costs i would expect it to last longer (about 11 months for my first controller before the left bumper broke along with some pretty fierce drift in both sticks) and if it's not as durable as it should be then the return/repair policy could be more robust.
    • A better warranty would be great, but it had lasted me roughly 14 months of daily use, so i can't complain.
    • Already falling apart only had it 5 months and nearly never used
    • However with a $150 price tag you would expect to have it last at least a year, or two, but in my experience 6 months is a small miracle
    • Otherwise you will likely find yourself in a similar position as I am now in: I will have lost over a month of playtime in the first 7.5 months due to repairs and it will cost a minimum of $40 for shipping and packaging...making this already expensive device even more costly.
    • but it only lasted me a month, until it started falling apart
    • Why can't xbox crap last longer than 6 months
    • Then 4 months of owning it it does this crap
    • Left bumper broke after having it less then a month
    • Only lasted 6 months before my left bumper broke and now my right bumper is not working properly, contacted Microsoft and they said after 90 days they can't do anything about it
    • Lasted 2 months and now it's broken, other reviewers are having the same problem with these latest controllers
    • Its like double the price of a regular controller but it only lasted a few months
    • Works very well, 4 months of use so far and no durability issues
    • It lasted a good 3 months before the left bumper broke during a play session with normal use
    • After only 3 months with this controller the lb broke right
    • I got used to playing with bumpers but its not worth buying a new elite every few months.
    • May 14, 2016After three months the right bumper broke, replaced it, left thumbstick ring and front housing broke, replaced it, dpad B button doesn't feel like I am pressing it and recedes more than other dpad buttons, now the right bumper has broken again two seconds ago
    • Broke down withiin 2 months of use
    • If you read the reviews scattered throughout the web, you see that the general response from Microsoft is that, if your controller has a problem and the three month warranty has passed, it is basically a paperweight, unless you take it upon yourself to repair it, if possible
    • Microsoft's warranty is 90 days, and the problem started around 10 months, and became unusable around 11 months of near daily use
    • Less than a month after the horrible 3 month warranty, the left analog stick began to drift badly to 12 oclock.
    • Only lasted 6 months before my left bumper broke and now my right bumper is not working properly, contacted Microsoft and they said after 90 days they can't do anything about it
    • This thing breaks every 6 months
    • 3 month warranty is ridiculous.
    • This controller met all of my expectations for a solid 9 months
    • 8 months in, the right top trigger button (RB) broke
    • There is only a 3 month warranty on this very expensive product that has multiple known issues especially with the bumpers coming out and being dysfunctional
    • 3 months left stick broken
    • My Controller lasted exactly six months and five days until the left bumper broke internally
    • Left D pad button quit working a few months after pulling it out of the package
    • About 3 months in the usb charge port stopped working
    • Three months into owning the Elite Controller, my bumpers broke
    • Left bumper broke 6 months in
    • 3 month warranty is an absolute joke!
    • To purchase a $150 controller that holds up no better than a $25 knockoff, then to have the company refuse to repair/replace it after only 4 months was a complete joke
    • FrontThe overall - this is a good controller for a solid 3-6 month, maybe even 9-12 month period
    • I fretted so much about the sticks dying or the o so prevalent bumpers breaking that I spent an extra 16-17$ on a warranty that I am not sure is actually legit
    • n’t work on other controllers
