so I recommend long warranty
-
I swapped it out twice within the very poor 3 month warranty period
-
Furthermore the warranty for this product through Microsoft is horrendous
-
The warranty is also trash which expired 2 weeks before my controller started messing up
-
90 day warranty expired 7 months ago
-
A better warranty would be great, but it had lasted me roughly 14 months of daily use, so i can't complain.
-
They will not honor any warranty or perform any returns for you
-
--I don't feel the ergonomics are there to warrant the price premium and the essentially nonexistent warranty support.
-
Their either was no warranty or it expired Microsoft wouldn't fix it
-
I highly recommend buying an extended warranty
-
And the one issue ive run into that everyone else has, is the damn warranty
-
all together."Turtle Beach is known for being difficult to work with, but even they provide and honor a one year warranty
-
Oh, and don't forget about the crappiest warranty provided for any 'pro' device ever
-
Microsoft doesn't have an extended warranty covering this failure.
-
Great product (conceptually) poor build quality, atrocious warranty
-
Microsoft doesn't back these up with any meaningful warranty and you will be left with a $$$$ paper weight
-
Of course the warranty has expired and Microsoft tells me there's nothing they can do about it
-
What's more, I never needed the warranty, because the thing works like a champ, and I use it every day, 9-10 hours a day.
-
RECOMMEND EXTENDED WARRANTY if possible
-
Less than a month after the horrible 3 month warranty, the left analog stick began to drift badly to 12 oclock.
-
Only 1 day after the warranty expired.
-
Great product (conceptually) poor build quality, atrocious warranty
-
think if Microsoft simply extended their warranty or provided a reasonably priced extended warranty I would be happier.
-
Shoulder bumpers are poorly designed and fail often, this was my second controller with this same issue and I even purchased the Squaretrade warranty just in case, And that complete joke of a company denied to replace it calling it accidental
-
The Pros:-Controller has great customization-thumb stick and d-pad choices are nice-feels like decent quality (at first)The Cons:-after about a year of normal use my rubberized grip just started coming off of the bottom part of the controller-A defect arose (after the warranty period) in which the controller would glitch out when trying to play with the charge cord plugged in-The controller is very
-
3 month warranty is ridiculous.
-
HIGHLY recommend not to purchase from anywhere but Best Buy since their warranty on these controllers are the best around.
-
warranty is total trash and the rechargeable battery
-
The defect is excusable, the inconsistency in the ability to get the controller replaced outside of its ridiculous 90 day warranty is inexcusable.
-
Unfortunately the $150 controller has a lovely 90 day warranty
-
Bad warranty :( didn't last a year.
-
It'd be one thing if MS actually stood behind their 'premium' product with a decent warranty and free replacements, but after this experience I'm never buying from MS again.
-
Great controller and concept priced a bit steep and has a bit of a durability issue topped by a not great warranty
-
3 month warranty is an absolute joke!
-
The warranty is far too short for a product this expensive.
-
Even if your controller does fail within the purposefully lacking warranty period, Microsoft will instead try to sell you a new controller and force you to fight for any replacements under warranty
-
As stated in previous reviews the warranty is abysmal, it appears M$ knows exactly how long it will take the kind of gamers who use this level of accessory to wear out certain components and have built a shoddy 'warranty' service which is guaranteed to not be useful to the majority of users
-
Also, the general consensus regarding warranty work is non existent because, apparently, Microsoft does not repair these items
-
Unfortunately, the warranty is good only for 90 days so I am stuck with it
-
For $150 the warranty is crap
-
Highly recommend getting a warranty
-
The warranty is only 90 days on this product (a joke) so MS support basically told me I was SOL and recommended buying a new controller
-
Other times it works as it's supposed to and goes right.
-
The Right Bumper broke as
-
I'd gladly recommend this to anyone looking for a great controller to use, but I'd just warn them that it may not hold up for as long as they'd like.
-
Nothing is broken and everything works as it should.
-
For the price of this controller, it fails in multiple ways!!!LB just broke as it has for many customers
