XFX Radeon RX 580 GTS XXX Edition 1386MHz OC+, 8GB GDDR5, VR Ready, Dual BIOS, 3xDP HDMI DVI, AMD Graphics Card (RX-580P8DFD6)

    • it does gets very hot and loud the fan sounds just like a leafblower undervolt the card if it can't run stable at lower voltage lower the core clock to stabilize the card overclock the HBM2 to 1000MHz and lower the so called memory voltage that also lowers the cards voltage even more and it runs fine after that stops the throttling a bit and it runs so much better but the stock heatsink is trash to small for the card recommend replacing the stock cooler and overclock the core and HBM2 or wait for AIB cards
    • It does run pretty hot even when idle and probably should have had a fan instead of a passive heatsink

    • was told MOST PCIe Video Cards need a 300watt power supply or better, and the DC5850 only has a 240wAfter a very. very long search thru a ton of tech sites I can up a handful of Video Cards that SHOULD work with a lower end power supplyOne of the interested insights I found, that a passive heatsink on a video card uses less
    • Unfortunately this doesn't seem to have been the aim for this product because the heatsink is grossly insufficient to keep the card at usable temps and there is no other way to keep it cool other than modding it up with a massive fan that would extract the excess heat from the passive heatsink

    • , the 5450 was on the list of a handful of video cards and had a passive heatsink, and a half height backplates included
    • Minus one star as, although fanless, the heatsink is very hot.
    • Worked as
    • This card works as it was designed, with my ASUS P5N-D Motherboard with 4 GB of memory installed.
    • Once that is done, the card works as it should
    • n’t get a compatibility error
    • It supports 4K monitors3
