Good thing I checked the box before wrapping it.

I wanted to love these things because they are so compact and affordable.

This thing was awesome, I've even recommended it to friends.

I wanted to love them, and tried everything to ensure I was doing the right thing, but every effort failed

I TRULY love these things

closed (the box opened and the items were bouncing around loose in the Amazon box) and appear to have been tested by someone prior to shipping (a good thing) because there were light greasy finger prints on the connectors and removable plastic covering.

The active electronics thing is not necessarily a problem for all active instruments

One last thing you should know...they worked in all 10 of my guitars and they are not all new

These things work great!

and it seems to brighten the tone a bit- not a bad thing for humbuckers

This thing doesn't work straight out of the box 😠

I use these things every time I play, whether I'm playing guitar at home or practicing bass in my band, these things are worth every dollar

It's not the end of the world, but cranking up input gain leads to some undesirable things sometimes - such as line hiss, and terrible loud noises if you forget you did it, and plug in direct

The second night, this thing was amazing!I've used the Shire GLX-D prior to this and had nothing but issues

I just tested this cool thing and hooked up

Honestly my first impression from looking at them was that this was some cheesy thing for kids - Think back to the really old "toy" walkie talkies and that level of quality

This thing is THE BEST

So, now I can play on the balcony watching a great view and here is the best thing you can do, hear yourself from a far has a major difference vs when you're next to the speakers, so you can see how much you bother your neighbors

The freedom from cord entanglement is a wonderful thing

One thing I did see a lot of while reading up, was that people highly recommend NOT to use this in for a live performance

These things are tiny, almost invisible, especially in black (what I bought - there is also silver)

The other thing is you have limited alternative frequencies if you are getting interference.
