Yamaha makes in my opinion, the best most responsive volume control peal with TRS connection

The pedal operation is very smooth and well controlled

The Yamaha FC7 feels very sturdy under the foot and has a much smoother control

Great control/motion over the volume unlike other controllers that have a smaller range.

A MIDI continuous control footpedal is supposed to connect to a MIDI keyboard or other MIDI control device to provide and attenuate a smooth, sweeping, continuous control of MIDI Control #7 (volume, hence the name "FC7" for "footcontroller #7") or any other continuous control to which it may be assigned

In my opinion, the best things about this pedal are that it's heavy and substantial, and that the size of the pedal surface itself is big enough that it's possible to play with precise control

, just note, it will not work with other instrument types as an inline volume control.
