I had to turn the 1 kHz down a lot as well as a bit of the 4 kHz.

It isn't going to wow any audiophiles though, as the center and satellite speakers are a bit weak on the low end to pick up where the sub-woofer leaves off.

I would recommend checking out Polk Audio speakers, yes they cost a bit more but the for really rich sound they are reasonably priced, maybe even sound as good as speakers costing thousands
