At 150$ you won't find a better set for the price

Fantastic set of speakers

A great set of Yamaha speakers.

The speakers are technically small I supppose (at 2.5 inches) and the automatic feature always forced the setting back to "small" but these speakers produce more than adequate bass and mid-frequency sound and "large" is the proper setting.

I think they outperform a $200 set of JVC's I used to have

, it's a good set of speakers with a nice 100W (prob peak rating) sub-woofer

i would not recommend this set to any one wanting bass not even a small amount really disappointed in purchase

No wall mounting brackets included, I picked up a real nice set of GE brackets at Wal-Mart for $10.I'm by no means an audiophile, and for those folks these speakers probably won't

In fact they would blow away my other set.

but I'd recommend a set of midrange bookshelf speakers(6 to 10 in 3 way) for full range listening

Fantastic for a inexpensive set.

While this set of speakers is much better than other units I have listened to in the same price range it is not something you want if you plan on rocking the house with AC/DC or something like that.

Sure you could go out there with more money and get a better set up, but for the rest of us who don't have tons of money to burn, look no further

Anyone who would say anything bad about these speaker is an audio snob and probably would waste $1000 on a more expensive set of surround sound speaker for only a marginal differance at best.

if you're looking for a decent set of speakers without breaking the bank this is itsound is pretty crisp and plenty louddefinatly recommend if you're on a budgetrunning of Denon AVR 789no complaints

I actually downsized from a larger surround system, it was over kill for our children, and this set was perfect.

This set of speakers is perfect for that kind of usage, and they were very easy to mount on the walls as they don't weigh much.

for the money is good,the size is too good, the sound is not clear but the bass is good,the center channel is poor.if you like a amazing set all in a box i recomended energy classic

This is actually the second set of the same speakers I had back in college (9 years ago), and I loved them then as well

Audiophiles would most likely not be lured by such an inexpensive set of speakers, and having watched movies at an audiophile's home, I can tell the difference... but if you're looking for a MAJOR improvement with a TINY price tag, these speakers will really fit the bill.

I also own a set of bose 2.1 speakers and I prefer the yamaha

sure, you can spend more money on a set of Polks, but these are fine for a cheaper set

but for the average person looking for a good surround sound speaker set you can't go wrong with these Yamahas
