Yamaha NS-SP1800BL 5.1-Channel Home Theater Speaker System

    • At 150$ you won't find a better set for the price
    • It is not a super set but for the price is a fantastic value.
    • a very nice set of speakers for the money
    • Easy set up, great sound and goes great with my receiver
    • I couldn't be happier and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice set of speakers at a reasonable price.
    • I mounted the speakers with an inexpensive set of wall mounts
    • By far the best set of speakers I have ever owned
    • I spent some time looking for a good set of speakers and this one came across my search
    • I purchased another much more expensive set from a friend to see if I'd replace these speakers and when I tested them, I discovered that these had superior sound quality
    • Great set for the price.
    • Good set of surround sound speakers for the price, paired them with a Pioneer surround sound receiver (lower end model)good quality sound and no distortion if I crank up the volume
    • Fantastic set of speakers
    • A great set of Yamaha speakers.
    • The speakers are technically small I supppose (at 2.5 inches) and the automatic feature always forced the setting back to "small" but these speakers produce more than adequate bass and mid-frequency sound and "large" is the proper setting.
    • I think they outperform a $200 set of JVC's I used to have
    • , it's a good set of speakers with a nice 100W (prob peak rating) sub-woofer
    • i would not recommend this set to any one wanting bass not even a small amount really disappointed in purchase
    • No wall mounting brackets included, I picked up a real nice set of GE brackets at Wal-Mart for $10.I'm by no means an audiophile, and for those folks these speakers probably won't
    • In fact they would blow away my other set.
    • The set was not very expensive but they are from a good company.
    • Excellent set of speakers.
    • Finding the right setting changed my assessment from "somewhat disappointed" to "extremely pleased".
    • These speakers sound like a much more expensive set
    • This is a great budget set of speakers
    • Overall, the set of 6 speakers is good
    • I might be a little one-sided in my opinion since these are probably one of the better sets of speaker I've ever owned, but I think they sound amazing
    • I have always been a fan of Yamaha audio equipment and when I was looking for a decent (cheap) set of 5.1 speakers for my Onkyo
    • but I'd recommend a set of midrange bookshelf speakers(6 to 10 in 3 way) for full range listening
    • I have always been a fan of Yamaha audio equipment and when I was looking for a decent (cheap) set of 5.1 speakers for my Onkyo
    • Fantastic for a inexpensive set.
    • While this set of speakers is much better than other units I have listened to in the same price range it is not something you want if you plan on rocking the house with AC/DC or something like that.
    • Sure you could go out there with more money and get a better set up, but for the rest of us who don't have tons of money to burn, look no further
    • We have had this set about 2 weeks and we love it
    • These are a great set of speakers.
    • If your looking for movie theater quality sound for a large room, this set won't be enough, but for what we use it for it's perfect.
    • but they are definitely well worth the price if you're looking for a solid, not-over-priced, set of 5.1 speakers
    • Anyone who would say anything bad about these speaker is an audio snob and probably would waste $1000 on a more expensive set of surround sound speaker for only a marginal differance at best.
    • if you're looking for a decent set of speakers without breaking the bank this is itsound is pretty crisp and plenty louddefinatly recommend if you're on a budgetrunning of Denon AVR 789no complaints
    • I actually downsized from a larger surround system, it was over kill for our children, and this set was perfect.
    • Thought I had found a good set of speakers at a reasonable price going by the reviews
    • I found a highly rated and more expensive set of speakers
    • The sub-woofer is powered - those in some inexpensive sets aren't
    • It doesn't look nor feel like it's a $120 set of speakers
    • So this is a perfect set for people on a budget but in want of great surround sound for a small to medium sized room.
    • What a GREAT set of speakers
    • Perhaps it would be a decent set for a small bedroom but did not seem adequate to have rich sound in the living room
    • This set is fantastic for the price
    • The mid-range is a little thin, but this is a fine set of bargain speakers for a relatively small space
    • This set is great
    • I put them in a fairly large bedroom and the quality of sound is like something from a more expensive set of speakers
    • Awesome set of speakers for the price
    • This is an impressive set for a reasonable price.
    • I haven't had a decent set of speakers since then
    • UPDATE -I still think the set is great for the price
    • I don't think you could find a better set of speakers in this price range.
    • This set of speakers is perfect for that kind of usage, and they were very easy to mount on the walls as they don't weigh much.
    • I have to say that the set more than exceeded my expectations
    • Overall, this set is impressive (for the price).
    • for the money is good, the size is too good, the sound is not clear but the bass is good, the center channel is poor.if you like a amazing set all in a box i recomended energy classic
    • Good set of speakers
    • This is actually the second set of the same speakers I had back in college (9 years ago), and I loved them then as well
    • this set is perfect for what I needed
    • This is a nice outstanding set of 5.1 speakers and will not harm your financials
    • Audiophiles would most likely not be lured by such an inexpensive set of speakers, and having watched movies at an audiophile's home, I can tell the difference... but if you're looking for a MAJOR improvement with a TINY price tag, these speakers will really fit the bill.
    • I also own a set of bose 2.1 speakers and I prefer the yamaha
    • Nice set although you have to buy a reciever for it.
    • sure, you can spend more money on a set of Polks, but these are fine for a cheaper set
    • but for the average person looking for a good surround sound speaker set you can't go wrong with these Yamahas
    • Super solid speaker set, great buy.
