I would happily recommend it to any person who is in the market for a decent-priced recorder that also looks good.

Don't settle for less, no matter if you found a cheaper recorder, it will not sound as good as this one.

What can I say, it's a recorder and works as it should.

I'm sure we can all remember the beautiful recorder music as performed by none other than Dwight Schrute, who inspired me to purchase such an amazing musical instrument.

Cons, (which I only mention because I also bought a Yamaha YRS-302B Soprano Recorder, which cost about $15 more), this recorder, like all soprano recorders, tends to sound a bit like a whistle, while the the 30-series mentioned above, sounds slightly less like a whistle, more like an instrument

Good recorder for the beginners

We have tried other plastic recorders and the Yamaha is the best for the price, perhaps the best translucent available altogether.

Feels durable unlike some of the flimsy recorders out there than can break or crack if you drop it.

You will be able to hit the higher register, but it will be much harder than a nicer recorder

I bought one to learn the titanic theme song so I can annoy my friends and family with terrible recorder playing

The pros, this is a fairly well-tuned recorder that is easier to play, easier to blow, than the Ivory Yamaha German-fingered 20-series model that I lost in my recent move
