Still, the SJ1000 has increased to about double what I paid for it in 2014 which makes the YELIN a better value but the SJ1000 is a better and more functional camera overall.

absolutely great value for the cost, NO image stabilization or Wi-Fi like a real GoPro, but if you have kids/teens.... this a great choice
