While the plate gets hot, the contents of the cup do not maintain a hot/warm temperature

The plate is hot for sure, but you coffee will be lukewarm or even close to cold

Obviously, be careful when using as the plate remains warm after you've disconnected or lifted up your cup

Yes the plate itself does warm up but to a very safe temperature that will unfortunately do little to keep my beverage nice and toasty

The hot plate produce heat at the bottom too and that burned/melted my desk

I can feel the plate getting hot but it is not able to keep the drink warm through the coffee cups

Keeps my husband's coffee warm, but perhaps not as warm as he would like.

Lovely as it is to give a "Nice Day" coaster along with the warmer, this coaster should NOT be placed on the top of the warmer as if it is part of it - thus the burning problem
