The one I did not expect unbearable wind noise from was the camera I placed inside, suction cupped to my windshield.

Interior shots and video from the Yi 4k produced some of the worse noise I have ever seen, and even outdoors video samples looked smeared with lack of detail at 4k and 1080p

The sound quality has a little to be desired as it picks up unwanted noise and wind from time to time

I'm not sure if it was just my luck, but the gimbal makes really loud noises sometime and it can be super annoying.

Also, any loud noise will blow-out the audio when played back.

To me, having the sound blowout with loud noises is practically a defect in design.

Can't get rid of static noise issue seriously prevalent in yi cameras

With a tiny bit of ambient light -- city night scenes &c -- its 30" exposures will light up everything perfectly well and without inordinate noise.

O cannot recommend this camera for anything.

By going to the yitechnology dot com site, and heading to support I was able to find the firmware file to update it to v1.09.
