I like how good the video is on the dash camera and on the back up camera it was well worth buyung

I could not find a good install video - but if you run the cable to the top of the back seat, there is a baby seat strap latch - if you lift that up, there is literally a space to the trunk - you can run the cable right into the trunk, no cutting or drilling there at all!

It records both front and rear views when running and has good quality video capture

Overall I like this dash cam, the one major drawback is the video in mirror display is hard to see during the day, just not bright enough even set on high, which makes the backup feature almost useless.

Overall this is a nice camera that takes good video, and the phone app is very handy, if they would work on the glare and the ability to see the video on the mirror display it would be a solid five star item at this price point, maybe the next gen will address that, as it is, it is just short of what could and should be.

The video quality at night it even much more outstanding, both the front camera and the rear camera pick up at increadible qualities

You need the app to download and install firmware updates and it makes downloading video easier (based on the documentation) the problem is when I start looking at the permissions this app wants

the rear video is just not very good and pretty blurry but it will suffice for backup-the backup cam only works as a backup cam ( turn on with lines automatically) if you wire in the provided wire with your reverse lights

Use at night is also not ideal as the video is dark overall with highlights being overexposed
