I tried shaking the cartridges several times and placing them back in the printer, yet they still did not work.

Defective yellow toner cartridge, powder everywhere within my printer & office.

You have to reset all of them then the new cartridges will work.

These cartridges work just as good as the originals for a fraction of the cost!!

so now I’m stuck with useless cartridges.

Both times, these cartridges have worked as well as the originals that came with my printer

Unfortunately my Brother HL-3170CDW doesn't like these, it complains and gives a toner error each time I print now.
