You want a solid green light after you connect everything, then flashing green while in use.

After installing my Trio Soho, I got a strong green led light on the booster

If your cell phone signal is only 4G, you apparently must have one of the newer zBoost 4G products to work.

Additionally, the 4G works on the phones, where previously it did not.
