It is very hard to break the lead in deed when using this pencil.

In most pencils that are worth anything you can make sure the lead doesn't break by using the pencil properly and only extending the lead out only a little bit past the tip

Very light weight for my needs, great when used with Pentel color leads which tend to break easy, this resolves my issues of snapping leads.

Lead doesn't break if used properly
