As a lefty, I especially appreciate that as I write, the ink doesn't smear across the page!

However, recent purchases of these pens have not had the best ink quality: low density, stoppage, etc. which can be very frustrating while taking notes

Also secure, the ink stays even through an alcohol wash, so good for checks and documents.
