Zebra F-701 Ballpoint Stainless Steel Retractable Pen, Fine Point, 0.8mm, Black Ink, 1-Count

    • Gel Retractable Gel Pen 0.7mm Medium Line Black Ink, Box of 12 (K437-A).
    • I even tried ordering expensive replacement ink, and that didn't solve the problem
    • I want well built and smooth dark ink
    • The ink is seamless, nice fine lines, my absolute favorite.
    • I have been using Zebra pens for years, and love their fine-point and consistent-flow inks.
    • It has a hard point for carbon copies, the ink doesn't pool or smudge, the knurled grip makes it easy to hold, and the fact that it's all-metal makes it easy to slide in and out of my uniform shirt's pen-pocket
    • It writes smoothly and easily, drawing a relatively fine line on the page in dark ink.
    • Moron that I am, I bought six duo packs of the same cartridge refills (Fine 0.7mm Black Ink), and find they too are all see through plastic,
    • I highly recommend upgrading to a better ink as soon as you get this pen.
    • Same smooth clicking action, same smooth ink flow, same great looks
    • The ink is horrible
    • This pen is unbreakable, has a sleek, sexy design, and allows me to use my favorite ink cartridge...zebra fine ink
    • I was expecting it to have darker ink
    • After a while the action to depress the ink becomes sticky and lags
    • The only complaint I have is the ink
    • I like the design and the construction, not impressed with the factory issued ink cartridge.
    • No smears, nice consistent ink flow
    • It alternates being splotchy and not giving enough ink within the same sentence
    • Consistent non skipping fine point black ink.
    • The ink is smooth and uniform
    • Little known fact, when the ink runs out, you can use the Fisher Space Pen inserts to replace it, giving it pressurized ink as well
    • Good weight and the fine 0.7mm ink cartridges to do not leak or smear.
    • Ink doesn't smear after writing
    • The mechanism seems to feel the same way it did when I removed it from its packaging.- Writing: The preinstalled pen refill writes very pleasantly with no ink blotching or streaking issues that I have experienced
    • No smears, nice consistent ink flow
    • I had been using Zebra F-301 pens (I prefer the 0.7 mm black fine ink), but I sometimes press too hard and, over time, the pen snaps where the metal end connects to the plastic body
    • Body of the pen is awesome, unfortunately the ink frequently fails to write, on regular paper in normal conditions.
    • I don't know what it is but for some reason the ink on these seems to work flawlessly too where as if you buy a zebra pen that's the tier down from this it will cut in and out at times
    • My only gripe is that the ink is terrible
    • I just wish the ink was a bit darker.
    • You'll be able to see how different it is from an ink pen, but the ink should last a hell of a lot longer than ink does
    • The ink isn't always perfect.
    • Great ink flow even with the fine point that it comes with.
    • But zebra has a great fine tip and consistent ink
    • Very disappointed with the quality of this pen's ink.
    • The ink is smooth and I think I may even prefer it the previous Parker that I had and lot more sturdy too.
    • It's a good ink cartridge inside a dollar store pen mechanism and then press-fit inside a decent SS tube
    • OKThe problem is this nice pen comes with a fine/"medium" ink point which is not too bad but for some reason on the whacky (cheep) printer paper we use at work for the forms it turns out writing scratchy and like a very fine point.
    • The ink comes out silky smooth and does not bleed
    • Smooth action, ink and ball rolls nice and consistently
    • Great pen but ink ran out quick
    • Fine point, smooth ink, just perfect
    • F-701 Stainless Steel Ballpoint Retractable Pen, Black Ink
    • Good size weight and nice ink flow.
    • The ink is good and doesn't smear
    • Zebra makes the worst ink refills
    • The ink works as well as any of the 300 series zebra's i've used before as well
    • I want well built and smooth dark ink
    • It has a close cousin, the F402 which has a slightly different barrel but other wise the same ink inserts.
    • The ink will stop flowing randomly and half of your writing ends up looking like you did it in invisible ink.
    • The pen itself is very sturdy and allows for replaceable ink cartridges so you can't go wrong here
    • I like my ink a little
    • The pen does not glide as much as past pens have, so I will probably look into finding a nicer ink cartridge to replace it with when I run out.
    • If the ink wasn't good, I wouldn't care how well constructed the pen was.
    • Pilot G-2 is still in a class of its own in the fact that it spews ink so beautifully onto paper
    • Not nearly as easy as an ink pen, but pretty good
    • It writes like a cheap 25 cent pen from Walmart, and the ink is very light so if you want a pen for school I would not recommend it
    • You have to take the refill out, remove the cap on the tail end and blow the ink down the tube, hopefully getting rid of the air bubble
    • Not only does it have Zebra's smooth-flowing ink refills, but also it is a balanced and heavy-duty instrument
    • One of the best inks I've
    • It's not very comfortable and the ink doesn't flow nearly as well.
    • Great pen, consistent ink flow, doesn't bleed through, and has a durable quality feel to it.
    • Could have a little better ink, got the Fisher Space Pen Blue Refill for it and much better now.
    • Ink flows well in a 0.7mm line, which will be well known to owners transitioning from the F-301, as it uses exactly the same F-refills - so no need to purchase a different type; you can even cannibalize your F-301 to feed your pen if you so desire
    • Perfect case with the perfect ink cartridge.
    • Great ink pen, my choice.
    • If you work in an office setting you don't need any form of heavy duty pen and should probably get something more comfortable to write with as well as something that uses better ink cartridges, like one of those gel grip pens
    • Great weight and the ink lasted a long time.
    • They write smoothly with dark ink, but they smear easily, kinda like fountain pens (does anybody still use them?).A long, long time ago I liked the Parker Jotter pens, but their smooth, tapered surface required more pressure to maintain a grip, which made my fingers hurt after a lot of writing.
    • I presume some air had gotten up into the tip (maybe from it being upside down at some point during the shipping process), and the tapping simply shook the ink back down into the tip where it could get flowing again
    • But the ink is crap
    • I hate pens that you have to apply unnecessary force to get a clean solid ink line and the
    • Comfortable grip, quiet clicker, solid construction, and decent enough ink
    • Not nearly as easy as an ink pen, but pretty good
    • I use this at work every day, it's my go-to pen, it works on any surface, where other people blow through cheap plastic pens that break, fail, bend in two, and dump ink all over their shirts, I've been stunned by the absolute quality by comparison
    • There are other darker inks out
    • The ink itself gets a bit dimmer after use too despite the cartridge still appearing full of ink after a couple months.
    • the ink won't run on you, and while it is dark enough to read very easily will not bleed through a page.
