I love this mechanical pencil.

I love Zebra' mechanical pencils and have used them for years.

I was looking for a steel .07-mm lead mechanical pencil sturdy enough to stand up to strong hands and this one works perfectly.

You will not find a more reliable mechanical pencil, ever

I have large hands and prefer weighty pens/pencils but this was just huge for my hand

Solid mechanical pencil, I love how the grip

The pencil is sturdy, writes smoothly, and is sure to get you a compliment or two

and I write with .03mm led pencils

Now it lets the lead slip up into the pencil when I try to write, so the pencil is useless

Back to the pencil...it doesn't really cost a lot, although there are many less expensive mechanical pencils that would work just as well

I really like this pencil.

This is a solid, masculine, beautifully designed pencil, which would particularly appeal to engineers, draughtsmen and other technical types

But as a pencil, with lead, this works as designed and hence the 5 star rating!

For example, the eraser doesn't seem to fit tightly into the holder under the cap, and can easily fall out while rapidly flipping the pencil over to erase.

I love the Zebra pens and pencils and had been using the 300s, then the 500s then somewhere I saw the 700s and they've become my go to writing tools

If you write a lot, this pencil get uncomfortable really quickly.

This was my favorite mechanical pencil -- good balance and grip, 0.7mm lead -- but the mechanism to hold and advance the lead keeps failing

this is the best feeling pencil and I like the No. 7 lead

I would recommend this solid stainless steel pencil.

I reccomend carrying an extra pen or pencil, because if people know you carry a pencil, they will ask to use it, and you won't want to give them your cherished zebra pencil

Out of the box, the pen's tip has a bunch of scratches and what looks to be the beginning of corrosion, and the pencil has a scratch just above the knurled grip.

The pencil feels very comfortable and easy to grip.

The Zebra M-701 is indeed a nice pencil

Pencil is very comfortable to hold for long periods of time and the lead goes smoothly on the paper and obviously isn't messy since I don't have to sharpen it...plus the silver pencil barrel is easy to spot on my dark table.

I'm not sure if it's the pencil or the lead that it comes with, but I love this pencil.

In short, this pencil will spell out a doom to all you've grown to cherish about disposable pencils

I like the 301 series pen and pencil too, but the 701 series is a significant step up
