An improvement on the old zebra fine point pens

I have been using Zebra pens for years, and love their fine-point and consistent-flow inks.

This is the worst place to have a join if you're looking for a snap proof pen, making for a significant weak point

The entire pen has a substantial feel, as in I didn’t notice any obvious structural weak points

I've gone through a half dozen, and will keep buying them because they're unique in toughness, fine point, writing quality, and overall feel, but they wear out disappointingly fast.

It has a hard point for carbon copies, the ink doesn't pool or smudge, the knurled grip makes it easy to hold, and the fact that it's all-metal makes it easy to slide in and out of my uniform shirt's pen-pocket

I only us Zebra black fine points and mechanical pencils.

It is a rugged pen, and the fine point makes note taking easy enough on the small pad I keep with me

Fine point, very smooth to write with, and they don't smear or smudge.

I ordered 2 refills in medium point, because I usually don't like a fine point tip, but this pen writes great even with the fine point refill.

The fine point tip has a sweet spot that is relatively small so to write smoothly you need to keep it as perpendicular to the page as possible

OKThe problem is this nice pen comes with a fine/"medium" ink point which is not too bad but for some reason on the whacky (cheep) printer paper we use at work for the forms it turns out writing scratchy and like a very fine point.
