The ink will fall back and the pen may or may NOT work any longer, even when you try it again on a flat surface.-The Zebra F pens (F-301 and F-402) don't seem to have this problem.

Unfortunately, the lack of much usable ink in this product gives it such a short lifespan, that it is not worth the 30 cent cost per pen.

I have to label lab specimens, and the ink dries quickly and does not smear.

Expect to use about 50% of the total available ink volume and trash the rest.

I do notice that it takes a couple days of writing with some of the pens for the ink to be the darkest.

If anyone wants a great pen, I strongly recommend getting the uni-ball Jetstream, they're skip free, write exceptionally smoothly and the ink is very dark and consistent.

Unlike other pens you may have experienced these ones aren't so thin that they feel like they are dragging or so thick that they are bleeding ink out, they are "just right".

They have a wonderful glide the ink is consistent; it never gunks up on the ball point

I ordered a 24 pack, so far I have tried 3 pens, at first they write really smoothly, the ink is vrry dark, but gradually the ink become light, not to mention sometimes they have globs at the tip and skip after laying on table for a while

I purchased these, over the gel ink pens, to avoid harsh ink stains on my labcoat and scrubs

The pen is comfortable to use, the ink is very smooth with writing, the tip retracts reliably, and the clear chamber to follow the ink use is nice (if it actually represented ink being used).

To save on costs of the metal pens, I'd sometimes buy knock-off Zebra ink refills from China, but they were terrible, nothing like the authentic ink.

I'm sure you could find a pen with a smoother ink flow, more comfortable grip, whatever, but I doubt you could find it at this price point

I have noticed with my most-used pen that it rarely, after 15-20 minutes of non-stop writing, will seem to get clogged and write weakly (very little ink, kind of hard to read) for a few lines

It's smooth writing ink last and doesn't smudge, which is all I want from a pen

The black ink will not bleed through typical spiral notebook pages.
