The lead is soft enough that I'm not breaking the tip every time I push a little hard

So I love these pencils, as the tip is amazingly fine and sturdy (despite using the same lead as a standard mechanical pencil)

It should be noted these mechanical pencils do not have a retractable tip and can only use 0.5mm lead (not sure why the description says "0.5mm/0.7mm")

The lead that was distributed with the pencils will occasionally jam the fine tip, making it useless unless you take the pencil a part, use a pin to push the lead out, and then re-assemble the pencil.
