The Jamstik+ is comes with neat companion apps that allow it's users to see what they're playing, learn new concepts, or even dabble in a little bit of song making

The tutorial app is very helpful for beginners and being able to use headphones while learning to play eliminates the obnoxious sounds of wrong chords for my roommates

The only downside it has is the guitar itself is heavier than you expect and it won't work with any android devices, since you can't install the proper app to play the Jamstik with

I've only had it a couple of weeks but already am really enjoying the ability to actually make meaningful sounds with the help of the free apps

I like the play-along lessons that are downloadable apps (free, by the way) and work with the Jamstik+ and so far they are intelligently designed for kids and those just picking up a guitar

There are easily over 40 apps available currently, whether your interest is multi-tracking recording, solo performance over backing tracks, or jamming and recording with others

After using different MIDI devices, Jamstik+ is easy to setup, with user friendly apps, work fine with GarageBand

It's just not as great as I had hoped
