Setup was a breeze and the app gives me the flexibility of keeping an eye on the house while on vacation.

The initial setup was a little bit confusing with the instructions but with a little bit try and errors it connected and has been working pretty well

The Zmodo app allows for a fast and immediate setup.

Software was an easy setup and is very well written unlike most cameras where the software seems like an afterthought.

Setup is very easy, you can choose to record and store continuous recordings by subscribing to one of their super cheap cloud plans ($10/mo for the most expensive one), and there are many settings within the app (click on live view and then the setting icon in the top right to access individual settings for each camera).

Ive had no disconnection issues, setup was easy, the zmodo app gets frequent updates which tells me they are always working on the software to make the cameras better

This is frustrating as it deeply limits their usage in a smart home setup as it's yet another closed system that you have to manage separate from the rest of your gadgets, not to mention if you lose internet access they become useless (As mentioned previously, they're ONLY accessible through the app, and they communicate directly with Zmodo servers, there's no local access of the stream).I'm personally very tired of these companies advertising a product a product with misleading information and using technical labels as marketing jargon
